Today, I created a project using Dylusions Paints. I purchased these at the beginning of the year and when I received them, I was a little intimidated by them. They were bright and bold and though I loved them, I wasn't quite sure how I wanted to use them. I saw a project completed by Marta Lapkowska using these paints and it was just the push I needed to give them a try. She has inspired me to try other forms of art and so I decided to give my doodling skills a try using these paints. Marta is a wonderful artist and she really has a talent for getting one excited about art. You can find Marta's blog
here.
Here is my journal project.
I cannot begin to tell you how much fun this was to create. I used some stamps from Paper Artsy, Tim Holtz and Dylusions stencils. he houses, sun, flower vine, grass and text are all drawn by hand. I hope you like my first doodle journal page and if you haven't tried Dylusions paint, well, you are really missing out on a ton of fun!
