Hi Friends! Thanks for stopping by for my latest Tammy Tutterow Designs creation. Today I created a card that's quick and easy to put together and it's a great way to use up left over pieces of patterned paper. Below is a tutorial on how I put everything together. Enjoy!
Begin by stenciling the small polka dots from the Tammy Tutterow Polka Party stencil set onto a 4-3/4" x 6-3/4" piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb. card stock with Wendy Vecchi White Embossing Paste. Allow to completely dry.
While the embossing paste is drying, cut four banners from coordinating card stock using the Simon Says Stamp Basic Banner die set in various sizes.
When the embossing paste is completely dry, adhere all four banners to the top of the embossing panel by overlapping them one over the other.
Stamp three party hats from the Tammy Tutterow Happy Grams #4 Party stamp set. On the first image, color the hat portion only. On the second image, color only the trim and on the third image color just the tassel on the top of the party hat. Using the die set that comes with the stamp set, cut out the images with their coordinating dies. Using 3D foam tape for dimension, adhere each piece to create the party hat.
To complete the card, stamp the "happy birthday" stamp from the Happy Grams #4 Sentiments 1 stamp set and color with coordinating colors. Cut out the sentiment with its coordinating die that comes with the set. Adhere the party hat and sentiment to the top portion over the banners. Adhere the panel onto a 5" x 7" coordinating colored card stock, tie a twine bow at the top, and you're done! Wasn't that easy? This is a great way to use up left over patterned paper, and who doesn't have a ton of that lying around. I know I do!
I hope you enjoyed this quick and easy card. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting!
This card is so sweet! I love that you paired the party hat with the banners! So festive! And the texture paste polka dots are fabulous!
