Hi Everyone! Today I want to show you another card I created using another image from Tim Holtz's Bird Crazy stamp set. Working with the accessories for this stamp set opens up a world of possibilities and I'm having a lot of fun using my imagination coming up with new ideas. They are also great for putting together a quick card just in the nick of time. I'm always running late trying to put together a birthday card for someone, so I whipped out this stamp set and got to work. I think I put this together in about an hour, which is quick for me. Thanks for stopping by and have an awesome day!

These Birds Are Crazy Fun!!
When the Bird Crazy stamp set by Tim Holtz was released, I knew I had to have it! I saw so many possibilities and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Now that there are accessories and thinlet dies, to go along with the accessories, the possibilities became endless. This is such a fun stamp set and if you're even remotely thinking about getting it, stop what you're doing and get it! You will be so glad you did.
I created the night sky using Distress Inks and found the combination from Karin Akesdotter's blog. If you want to see some beautiful cards, please check out her blog and see her amazing talent.
Here's how I put together my background:
First stamp all the Bird Crazy images and use the dies to cut out their eyes, then glue them on the paper to surround the main image.
Cover each set of eyes with glossy accents and let them dry completely before working on the background.
Cover the paper entirely with Faded Jeans. Then working from the outside toward the center, add Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire and then Black Soot moving less toward the center with each new color.
Here you can see the look I was going for, peering eyes in the dark. This card was so much fun to make and I have about a zillion more ideas swirling in my head for these amazing, crazy birds. Yep, you could say I've gone Bird Crazy!
